Venture WeR1 was born out of the ideas of the previous initiative of The House for Social Solidarity, WE19, which was established as a result of civic responsibility during the outbreak of Covid-19 and assisted new, small israeli businesses with growth grants.
WeR1 Mobile App is at the core of the new venture; it offers a professional toolbox and solutions for small businesses to help them succeed by encouraging social solidarity, providing collaborative opportunities, providing support and accompaniment and accessing essential information in a simple, easy, and innovative manner.
This is the place to share information and insights from the corporate world with other small business owners in Israel, ask everyday questions affecting them, and receive answers and opinions from other experts.
Our mission is to promote social solidarity between business owners by providing dedicated communication solutions for business collaborations between WeR1 members, including: purchasing and selling products and services, "service for service" collaborations, group buying, and more.
We provide members of our business community with access to professional knowledge specifically designed for them in collaboration with leading content experts on topics such as managerial skills, financial management, marketing, sales, and creating a strategic plan.
Business owners who meet the criteria can receive grants of up to 30,000 NIS. The grants will be given to help businesses grow and can be used to cover such expenses as marketing, advertising, purchasing equipment, recruiting employees, and more. Grant recipients will be selected through the "peer selection" process (similar to the WE19 venture), and some will be given mentoring support to ensure optimal use of the grant money while keeping in mind their individual needs and goals.
The app's users are small business owners who have been authenticated and form the WeR1 community. Through the app, community members and recommended businesses are easily accessible, as well as businesses can be searched by occupation, location, or various interests to encourage collaboration and contact.
